Bed and Breakfast

If you’re looking for somewhere a bit special to rest and unwind following a day out exploring the Lancashire countryside – Middle Holly Cottage is probably the B&B for you. We are a warm and welcoming, relaxed and friendly Visit England Assessed Four Star Gold Bed and Breakfast with a touch of luxury. In the beautiful Lancashire countryside, on the edge of the Bowland hills just north of the Fairtrade market town of Garstang and 5 miles south of Lancaster.

Somewhere to take a deep breath and unwind following a day out exploring the coastal villages of Morecambe Bay, the Lakes, Lancaster or the Forest of Bowland.

If you are looking for an ideal stopover between the South and Scotland, Middle Holly Cottage is situated less than 3 miles from the M6 junction 33. We are conveniently situated for the Port of Heysham (25 minutes from us for ferry crossing to the Isle of Man) and the Lake District (the lower reaches of which can be reached in 35 minutes).

Relax after your journey in our bright and cheery front guest lounge where we will welcome you with a pot of tea and a plate of our homemade signature shortbread biscuits. On a warm summer's afternoon there's no better place to be than our garden where you can enjoy the views over the Bowland Hills whilst relaxing with tea and biscuits.

Set in three quarters of an acre of grounds, Middle Holly Cottage has a large safe car park to the rear.

Whether you're here on business, visiting family or friends, or just stopping over for the night we will do our very best to make your stay a relaxing and enjoyable one.
